Shiels Wedding in Milwaukee

Congratulations to RJ and Angelica! We spent the weekend in Milwaukee celebrating the Shiels marriage and it was a truly beautiful event at the Pfister Hotel. We knew the evening was going to be great when there were two cakes at the reception. One was decorated with Penn State pride for RJ's alma mater.

The event continued as we danced and partied (some of us more than others). And at the end of the night everyone toasted to a Penn State shot that was blue and white.

Baby Reach's Little Face

Last week on July 1 I had what will probably be my final ultrasound at 32 weeks. Everything is looking good and Baby Reach is right on track. Based on the measurements they took at the appointment they think he was 4 lbs 14 oz (73%). So not as big as I thought based on Gary being such a big baby but not tiny. This isn't a great picture but they did a 3D ultrasound to try and see his face. It is a little blocked and fuzzy but fun to share.

Mom's 60th Birthday in Disney World

We spent the 4th of July weekend in Florida with my family to celebrate Mom's birthday in Disney World. All 7 of us had a great time and even though we melted a little bit during the heat of the day we hit the parks and had lots of fun. Baby Reach and I couldn't enjoy all of the rides but we got to hang out with the family and celebrate Mom's big day.

For the birthday dinner we went to the Coral Reef Restaurant at Epcot and had the best view of the huge aquarium where we saw lots of fish, sea turtles and even sharks...dun-uh. Celia sang the two notes from the Jaws theme every time the shark swam past. Hilarious.

Seeing Disney World through a 6 year old's eyes was so entertaining and everyone got into it. Celia was very intrigued with my big Belly and I think she is very excited to have a new cousin in August.

Next time we go to Disney World we will probably be there with Baby Reach. But this trip was about the big Birthday and I am so glad that even though I was 7 months pregnant I got to go and celebrate.
