We joined our East Coast friends and family for a baby shower at Aunt Bekah's house a couple of weeks ago. Oma and Aunt Bekah planned a wonderful party with great food and it was lots of fun. Even a little rain shower didn't stop the party as we continued inside. It was amazing to have so many people from different parts of our lives in one place at one time and all were there to help us celebrate the upcoming birth of our son.
Instead of playing games we asked everyone to decorate a onesie for Baby Reach. We had no idea how creative everyone one is and we had some real artists in the group. We can't wait until he arrives so that we can put him in all of the adorable onesies that were decorated for him.
Some of the Penn State girls were there. After Baby Reach arrives, between all of us, we will have 5 sons and 1 daughter with more to come I am sure. The next generation of Penn Staters gets a new member in August and we can't wait to teach him all about Joe Pa, Happy Valley and the Nittany Lion. We Are...
Here are the Media girls...we are all over the country now with one in California (still can't believe that Beth came all the way from LA), two in Pennsylvania and me in Illinois. We usually only all get together about once a year so that was a great treat to see everyone. And we got to meet Rylen who was only 4 weeks old and the hit of the party.
All the way from New York came a member one of the Disney roommates, Becky. We met in 1998 after we were randomly picked to share an apartment with 6 girls. But we were lucky enough to become great friends.
Only 2 more months...we are so excited! And we are so fortunate to have such amazing friends and family. Thank you to everyone who came for your generosity and for being a part of this exciting chapter in our life.
