Ho ho ho...

We have seen Santa no less than 8 times in various places. Including on a motorcycle after soccer last weekend. But we finally got our official Santa picture.

Griffin loves him and repeats his present list exactly the same each time. Addison doesn't really want to get within 5 feet. Maybe next year they'll both be smiling.

Go Daddy!!!

Daddy ran his first trail run today. And we all cheered him on. After 10 miles Daddy was doing great but Griffin helped him crossed the finish line.

Addison is 1!

We had a sunny afternoon and some great family and friends over a few weeks ago in September to celebrate Addison's birthday.

Our "little sweetie" was turning one so we had candy theme and decorated with pictures from the whole year...it was amazing to see how much she has changed.  And that everyone had a different favorite picture.

Addison is such a happy girl and loves her family and friends.  This is the only picture we got of her little tutu dress but it was adorable.

No, Addison didn't get a bike for her birthday but she loves doing anything Griffin does so she likes to sit on his bike.

Just a little birthday kiss from her cousin, Marilyn.  Was it really only a year ago that Marilyn was one?

And then we moved inside for dinner and dessert.  I think someone enjoyed her first taste of cupcakes (May I add, they were frosted by her Daddy)

She is so different from her big brother who enjoyed his cupcake with a napkin and fork.

Addy enjoyed opening her presents...

 And, so did Daddy...

 Happy Birthday Baby!

Some of Addy's First Few Steps

Yesterday, October 3, 2012 was a big day in the Reach House as Addy took her first few steps on her very own. This video isn't the very first steps but only a few minutes later as she was practicing some more.  She has been working up to it for weeks and finally let go and just took off on her own.  We are so proud and as Griffin says "Look at her go!"

Griffin's 3rd Birthday Party-Tractor Ride!

Thank you to our family and friends who joined us at Linvilla Orchards for a tractor hayride.  Farmer Fred made the ride very special and Griffin loved every minute of it.

The animals were all out to say Happy Birthday to Griffin and we had lots of fun feeding them corn. This cow just inhaled a whole ear of corn.

Balloons, tractors, cake...family & friends...it was the perfect day for our little three year old.  The cake was awesome and had it's own little tractor which we took home and is now a favorite toy.

Addison is 1!

It was a year ago today that we welcomed the sweetest little girl into our family.  Happy Birthday Addison! Mommy, Daddy and Griffin love you more than you will ever know.

Our little teletubbie

So far a bow to the side or a spike on top is the best way to handle Addy's comb-cover. But she is starting to get hair in the back that has a little bit of curl to it.

Maine-4th of July 2012

A week in Maine with the Grovers was heaven! We spent this year's 4th of July week doing so many fun things that the pictures really can't do the week justice.  We shared their cabin so we had 3 kids and 4 adults in 3 bedrooms and it was actually great.  Most days we got the kids to nap all at the same time and after bedtime we sat around the campfire enjoying the evening.

Memorial Day 2012 at Papa's House

We had some fun in the sun at Papa's House! Addy went swimming for the first time and Griffin really enjoyed the water.  Or at least he liked picking his squirt animals out of the filter and throwing them back in the pool.

Griffin hit the range with Papa! I think we'll let Nick and Amanda be the golfers in the family for now since he almost took out Papa's legs.  But Griffin did love riding the tractor at the golf course.

Griffin got a very special treat...a chocolate dump truck!

Bowling!

Yes, we went bowling! It was hilarious.  We have actually done it a couple times since then and he is starting the get the concept. Can you believe they make bowling shoes his size?
