We headed to Los Cabos, Mexico last week with Grandma for some sunshine and fun. A little break with sunshine and warm weather will certainly help us make it through the rest of the winter. The hotel was really nice and we had a blast splashing in the pool and digging holes on the beach. Griffin liked eating the sand, as I am sure most kids do, but it was gross to us.
Griffin learned a few new words while we were there like ocean, turtle and umbrella. He was a little scared of the ocean at first but the second day came running towards it when I was getting some water for sand castles.
At night we would run up and down the hallway to let out that last little bit of energy Griffin had left. It was hilarious that after all the fun we had each day he actually ran and ran and ran...until he went to bed.
It was an awesome trip and we really enjoyed every moment of warmth and fun. Then we headed home to Chicago for Christmas...
