Long Awaited Belly Pictures

I guess it is time...at 23 weeks I am finally ready to share with the world my growing belly. Baby Reach is definitely getting big and so am I. I have started to feel him move around in there and so far he really likes apples. It is so great to know that we are only four months away from meeting this little guy. Not really sure what else to say except it is just a picture of my belly but we will continue to share as the baby and I get bigger.

Ellie Visits

It was a quiet weekend at home for the most part. On Saturday it finally felt like Spring and Kathryn and Ellie came over for their first visit at the new condo. Ellie is adorable, has gotten so big and is almost walking these days. A 1 year old is a lot of work (but lots of fun) and having all the toys in the living room made me smile for things to come.

Mr & Mrs...

We just got back from the US Virgin Islands where my sister got married after 11 years of dating one of the best guys in the world. It was a beautiful day and she was a gorgeous bride. They got married right on the beach in the morning with the sparkling blue water right behind them and the waves crashing as they said their vows. Then we changed into our swim suits and set sail on a boat for an afternoon of sailing, snorkeling and enjoying the ocean. It was an incredible reception and an amazing day. Congratulations...we are so happy for you both!

Easter 2009

Happy Easter! We had our friends over for Easter Brunch this year with little Ronny who is 9 months old. It was great fun to eat lots of food and hang out with good friends. After we ate (frittata, french toast and berries, blueberry muffins, potatoes and bacon) the boys hung the tv on the wall in the family room. There were a few nervous moments but it is still on the wall and looks great.

One of the best memories of the day was decapitating the lamb cake. I think we had just a little too much fun cutting the little guy's head off but it was delicious. Brunch turned into an all day get together...we hope we get to do it again soon.

Boy or Girl???

We went back to the doctor today and found out whether we will be painting the nursery blue or pink, grandson or granddaughter, nephew or niece...and IT IS A BOY!! I had a dream on Sunday night that it was a girl and then last night a dream that it was a boy. I really had no idea but I was thinking girl so I was a little surprised. But we are so excited that in August we'll have a son.
