I'm free...video!

This is from a few weeks ago, just a couple of nights after Griffin first figured out how to get out of his crib. We did this every 60 seconds for about 2 hours until he finally gave in and went to sleep. I was so tired from putting him back in for 2 hours straight and I can't believe he wasn't tired from all the climbing out.

Isn't it amazing how good he got at it?! And he was so proud of himself every time he came walking out of his room. We found a solution until he is old enough for the toddler bed and put the mattress of the crib right on the floor. He can't get out now and we are all sleeping much better!

Crane Pajamas

It took him exactly 21 months but this week Griffin figure out how to climb out of his crib. Darn.

Moving Day

Only a 20 month old could enjoy moving and all the boxes. Griffin certainly did.

Mother's Day

The day started off great with Griffin coming in and saying "Happy Mother's Day!" And I got some beautiful flowers and a new pair of shoes. Little man has good taste :)

Then we headed to the Shedd Aquarium with Grandma to see all the fishies.

Griffin's favorite by far were the turtles, who say slow....

They have this great area near the penguins where kids can dress up like penguins and slide and climb around. Griffin was a very cute penguin and loved it. He also only refers to penguins as "Macaroni Penguins" thanks to the sister book to Brown Bear, Panda Bear.

It was a beautiful day in Chicago and an incredible view of the city.

Baby 2!

And, since we have a lot going on at the moment we have decided to wait until things have settled down and then find out whether we are having a boy or girl. We have the news in hand but for now it stays sealed up. Oh, the anticipation...
