Griffin starts 1st Grade!

He was so ready for 1st grade today!! And I love that 4 years after he started his first ever school he is still smiling and excited to go. 

First grade, here he comes!

Bye Bye Buzz Lightyear

We are starting to learn that things will fade in the kids eyes and it will be harder for us to let it go than for them.  Case in point, Griffin and his love of Toy Story and especially Buzz Light Year.  I know it is time to retire the Buzz Light Year pajamas, I do.  But when I was looking for a picture of Griffin in them when he first got them (Valentines Day when he was 4 I think) I found this video too. Sob.  Getting so big. So fast.  Everyone tells you that you will blink and they will be all grown up. Everyone is right.

Addison got her ears pierced!

She has wanted her ears pierced for probably over a year now. And she earned it as a special sticker chart reward. She was very brave and says it hurt a little. I think I was more nervous than she was to have it done.

Christmas 2015

Our cup runnith over!!! I love this age; when the kids are old enough to pick out the gifts for us. You never know what you're going to get. They had a ball today and even though it felt like summer it was a wonderful Christmas.
