The 'Almost' Done Kitchen

We have gotten a few requests for some more pictures of the condo. So we proudly present...the kitchen. It is the only room 'almost' done since there wasn't really much to do when we moved in.

There were lots of things in the kitchen that we got to pick out. It was a fun room to put together. The cabinets were already installed when we first saw the condo but we picked out the appliances, the granite and the backsplash. The backsplash took a lot of back and forth and several trips to the tile store but we finally agreed on this one. And we just found the perfect counter stools after looking at lots of different options. We are really happy with simple and modern look of these stools and they are comfortable too.

The Orange Closet

Finally, we are in our new home. We have been here for a week and it is been such a whirlwind but wonderful at the same time. Single handedly, we made sure Home Depot is going to have a great first quarter but we are settling in and loving the neighborhood and our condo. G has really surprised me and not only been very handy (especially with all of his new tools from Home Depot) but also totally into all the projects.

Our first big project was the master closet. We decided to paint it orange for a little fun but also bought a closet organization system so that we can take advantage of every square inch. Well, the orange turned out to be really bright! It is much more day-glow orange than pumpkin but it makes us laugh and once everything is up on the walls you can't see that much of it.

Now we have space for all of our stuff and a bright room that will wake you right up in the morning. Here are a couple of pictures of the project and the final result. Good job G! What 's next on the list?
