All the books, and even the pediatrician, said that babies get fussy between weeks 4 and 6 weeks. Griffin is no exception. He has spent a little more time crying and even had a few days where he would not sleep for more than 20 minutes. And the only time he would sleep would be in our arms, driving around in his car seat, or walking around in his stroller. I like to think that he just needed a little extra cuddling. We were happy to oblige but glad that it has passed. Here are some pictures from the happy times.
But all of the hard work has paid off because he has really started to smile and that makes it all worth it.
Despite the fussiness we have still had a lot of fun with Griffin the last week. We started naming his little arms and legs:
Right Arm-Grabby
Left Arm-Scratchy
Right Leg-Kicky
Left Leg-Squirmy
And his nose is stuffy. You can get a really big smile if you touch his nose. Adorable.
We had a few friends come over and visit the last couple of weeks too. Ellie is about a year and half old. Owen is 4 months old. Boy they change fast. It is so nice to have a couple of great moms to talk to during the first few months.

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh!! He is so cute and so much bigger!! I am so glad you guys made this blog. We have Griffin's picture on the fridge, and ever time he catches a glimpse of it Ronnie smiles and points to it until I get it down for him to play with. It is a little bent and has gotten lots of kisses. Looks like you guys are adjusting well too!!
