Wallingford Swim Club Deep Water Test

Not a problem for Griffin! He passed with flying colors today. We are so proud of you!!!

News from the pool

Today was a big day at the pool for Griffin because he passed his first deep water swim test at a sister pool. It was 3/4 of a lap freestyle and then treading water for 90 seconds. Next up we need to try the swim test at our swim club but he is doing awesome and is totally going to get it. Super job Griffin! He's slightly proud. 

Addison Rides!

Addison rode her first 2 wheel bike today!!! I am not going to lie...I was a little choked up watching my baby ride away.  She did such an awesome job and went around the block 3 times before we had to call it a night.  Thank goodness Gary can keep up with her for now!  Yet again the balance bike prepared her so well that the transition was really easy to the 2 wheel bike.  Amazing Addison!

First Family Run

Well...truth be told...Gary pushed the kids in the stroller and then they got out and ran the last 100 feet or so. But Griffin and  Addison were so excited to cross the finish line at the Swarthmore Independence Weekend 5 miler.

First Day of School 2014

What a week! We are FINALLY back at school.  It was an awesome summer, but we were all ready for school to start this week.  Griffin is a Lion, going 4 days a week, and Addison is in Playschool, going 2 days a week.  This year's transition was so much easier so far, especially for Addison, and the kids have to be dragged off the playground at the end of school.  We are thrilled to be part of the Wallingford Co-op School again this year.  It is going to be such a fun year!
